Hello! My name is Alex Silich — I’m an explorer and artist.

Thank you for your interest in my Visual Perception Instruments.

With my work, I explore the dynamic interplay between technology, perception, and consciousness. The core concept behind my analog projector is to stimulate pattern recognition through pareidolia, aesthetics, and the exploration of spiritual and meditative states. The inspiration for building this projector grew from a lifelong fascination with music, art, science, spirituality — and the countless meaningful interactions with people over the years.

I began developing the Visual Perception Instrument in 2009, and to this day, my goal remains the same: to eliminate unnecessary distractions and highlight the plasticity of pareidolia — the mind’s natural tendency to find patterns in abstract forms. The design focuses on making it as effortless as possible to enter a state of flow. If you’re curious about the scientific foundations and mechanisms behind the instrument, you’ll find more detailed information on the Scientific page of this website.

My motivation is to inspire creative, scientific and spiritual minds alike. It’s my dream to contribute to innovation and to help foster a deeper connection between humanity, nature and consciousness.

I hope you enjoy my work and that it sparks your own curiosity and creativity. That would make me truly happy!
